Content Removal Policy for AI Chat on FizzChat

The main updates are as follows:

1. Introduction of a safety filter feature based on adult verification.
2. Strict compliance with the Republic of Korea's 「Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.」 and related laws.
3. Adoption of the 'Internet Content Rating Service (SafeNet)' standards from the Korea Communications Standards Commission.

When determining the level of sexually suggestive content, the following factors are comprehensively reviewed:

• Application of SafeNet rating standards as the foundation of the policy.
• Flexible interpretation considering the unique characteristics of text-centric content.
• Reference to moderation trends in similar digital content fields, such as web novels and webtoons.

Furthermore, we provide the following detailed guidelines for creating FizzChat AI characters.

1. Common Regulations for All Characters

Failure to comply with the following regulations may result in the character being deleted without notice. Repeated violations may lead to account restrictions.

• Protection of Copyright and Portrait Rights
  • Unauthorized use or posting of another person's copyrighted work or image.
  • Using real-life photos or high-resolution realistic images that could infringe on another's portrait rights or evoke a real person.
  • Sexual depictions of real individuals, or the use of defamatory or negative expressions and images targeting specific persons or groups
  • Unauthorized use of logos, symbols, or other imagery that could be associated with specific organizations or entities.
• Prohibition of Unauthorized Posting of Personal Information
  • Including another person's personal information in character details (description, image, etc.) without prior consent.
• Restriction of Offensive and Repulsive Content
  • Using inappropriate images or text that may degrade the overall quality of the service.
  • Content that could cause severe discomfort, disgust, or offense to other users, such as overly realistic and cruel depictions of violence.
• Prohibition of Depicting or Encouraging Illegal Acts
  • Characters that could be used for criminal or illegal purposes.
  • Positively portraying or specifically describing acts that are contrary to social order.
  • Detailing or encouraging serious criminal acts such as terrorism, child abuse, human trafficking, or drug use.
• Restriction of Misleading Content, Including Spam and Scams
  • Content that could deceive or mislead other users.
  • Spam or promotional content for commercial gain.
• Strict Prohibition of Sexual Content Targeting Minors
  • In accordance with the Act on the Protection of Children and Youth against Sexual Offenses, any depiction of sexual acts involving figures or expressions (e.g., school uniforms) that are clearly recognizable as children or adolescents (under 19 years of age) from a societal standpoint.
  • Content that could cause serious mental or physical harm to minors.
  • Depictions of child abuse, sexual exploitation, or violence against minors.
• Prohibition of Content Implying or Depicting Incest
• Violation of Social Norms and Taboos
  • Expressions that promote discrimination or hatred against specific groups, regions, races, nations, religions, sexual minorities, etc.
  • Any other content that is considered socially unacceptable.
• All Other Acts That Disrupt the Service Environment
  • Using tags unrelated to the character's settings, thereby causing confusion for other users.
  • Creating or using inappropriate tags that violate the policy.

2. 세이프티 캐릭터 규정

Safety Characters are accessible to anyone aged 14 and over. Content creation up to Level 2 of the SafeNet standard is permitted. This applies equally to all character elements (description, information, image, tags, etc.).

• Prohibition of Sexual Depictions and Nudity
  • Direct depictions of sexual acts are not allowed. The shape of specific body parts, such as genitals, must not be visible, even if clothed.
  • Protruding or directly exposed nipples on female characters are not permitted.
• Restriction of Sexually Suggestive or Violent Expressions
• Prohibition of Content Inappropriate for Youth

3. Sensitive Character Regulations (When Safety Filter is Off)

Sensitive Characters are accessible only to users who have completed adult verification and disabled the safety filter. These regulations also apply to all character elements (description, information, image, tags, etc.).

• Prohibition of Excessive Sexual Exposure
  • The main profile image must not be overly suggestive or obscene.
• Prohibition of Direct Depiction of Genitals, Pubic Hair, or Anus
  • Direct exposure of these areas is prohibited. They must be processed in a way that their outlines are not recognizable.
  • It is permissible if the main body parts are fully covered by artistic expression or clothing, or if they are obscured by an opaque treatment that makes them unidentifiable. See-through clothing is allowed only to the extent that it reveals the outer silhouette of the body.
    • Even with blurring or mosaic effects, the outline of the area should not be discernible. It is recommended to completely cover the area with a solid color like black or white.
• Prohibition of Explicit Sexual Acts
  • Content that focuses on depicting acts prohibited by the Regulations on Information and Communications, such as sexual violence (rape, sexual assault), bestiality, necrophilia, or other socially unacceptable perverse acts, may be subject to sanctions.
• Refrain from Using Excessively Vulgar Language
• Restriction of Characters That Could Be Mistaken for Children or Adolescents
  • In accordance with the Act on the Protection of Children and Youth against Sexual Offenses, if a character is clearly recognizable as a child or adolescent from the perspective of an average person, considering various factors such as appearance, physical development, and settings.
    • Even if the character is explicitly stated to be an adult in their settings, exposing their body or conveying sexual nuances while wearing a school uniform may be considered child/youth sexual exploitation material under current law and subject to sanctions. Therefore, for characters with sexual elements, please use other uniforms that clearly indicate adulthood and avoid school uniforms.
• All Other Cases Deemed to Require Immediate Action in Violation of Relevant Laws

Warning:

• Regardless of the character's visibility status (public/private), violating the creation policy may result in the character being deleted or made private without warning.
• Setting a character with sexually suggestive content as a ‘Safety Character’ may lead to account restrictions.
• Repeated policy violations may result in a permanent account ban without prior notice.
