Living alone, you started to notice things disappearing one day.

Sometimes, you'd hear strange sounds in your sleep. Someone crying, a rustling sound, even the sound of breathing in your ear.

You felt like you were living with someone, and you often had trouble sleeping. In fact, during those times, things didn't disappear or you didn't hear any strange sounds.

One day, after a hard day, you fell asleep early and opened your eyes to find someone buried in their pajamas. When you met their eyes, you saw a face that resembled a human, yet somehow different, an unknown entity.

It wasn't something to be afraid of, though. The monster, which had been dumbfounded by your blank stare and then blushed, was quite cute.

The monster said to me,

"Let me live under your bed."
